Terms & Conditions of Purchase

By purchasing a DIY website template from Lains Creative, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 1. Digital Product – No Refunds
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final, and refunds will not be provided under any circumstances. Once a template has been purchased and delivered, it cannot be returned or exchanged. Please ensure you have reviewed all template details before purchasing.

2. Licensing & Usage
- Your purchase grants you one license to use this template for one website only (whether personal or business).
- Reselling, redistributing, or claiming this design as your own is strictly prohibited.
- If you require multiple uses of the template for different businesses or projects, additional licenses must be purchased.
- All images used in this template are for demonstration purposes only. You must replace them with your own licensed images.

3. Technical Requirements & Platform Dependencies
- These templates are built exclusively for Showit and will not work on other platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace).
- A Showit subscription is required to use the template, and any costs associated with this are your responsibility.
- **Domain name and Showit subscription are NOT included in the template price** and must be purchased separately directly through the respective suppliers.
- For optimal editing experience, **Google Chrome browser is required** when customising your template. Other browsers may cause display or functionality issues.
- You are responsible for ensuring your internet connection and device meet the technical requirements for using Showit effectively.

4. Customisation & Support
These templates are designed to be fully customisable within Showit, but you are responsible for making any design changes, adding content, and launching your site. Your purchase includes access to written and video tutorials to guide you through the setup process. Limited email support is provided for technical questions directly related to template setup, but this does not include design customisation, content creation, or general Showit training. If you require additional support, custom services may be available for an additional fee.

5. Payment Plans & Access
If you choose a payment plan, you will receive full access to your template after the first payment, but you are required to complete all remaining payments as agreed. Failure to complete payments may result in restricted access to future updates or additional resources.

6. No Guarantee of Success
While these templates are designed with strategy, aesthetics, and user experience in mind, purchasing a template does not guarantee the success of your business, website traffic, or increased sales. Your success depends on various factors, including your branding, marketing efforts, content, and audience engagement.

7. Future Updates & Access
- You will have lifetime access to your purchased template and any future updates made to the design.
- Any major structural updates or redesigns may be offered as a separate product and will not be included in past purchases.

8. Content & Copyright Responsibility
- It is your responsibility to ensure that all content, images, text, and branding used within your template comply with copyright and legal regulations.
- You are responsible for obtaining proper licensing for any images, fonts, or other media you use on your website.
- You are responsible for replacing placeholder content with your own legally compliant materials.

9. Template Delivery & File Management
- Templates will be delivered via email or download link within 24-48 hours of purchase confirmation.
- You are responsible for downloading and securely storing your template files.
- Lains Creative is not responsible for lost files due to expired download links or technical issues on your end.

10. Modification & Compatibility
- While templates are designed to be customisable, extensive modifications may affect functionality.
- Lains Creative is not responsible for issues arising from significant alterations to the original template structure.
- Third-party plugins or integrations are used at your own risk and may affect template performance.

11. Legal Responsibility & Limitations
- Lains Creative is not responsible for any technical issues, website downtime, data loss, or business losses incurred through the use of these templates.
- Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the template.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Communication & Updates
By purchasing, you consent to receive transactional emails related to your purchase, including delivery confirmations, updates, and important notices. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications but will continue to receive essential purchase-related emails.

13. Termination
Lains Creative reserves the right to terminate access to purchased materials if these terms are violated, particularly regarding resale or unauthorised distribution of templates.
